Flightstar leaped onto the TallStone and yowled for a clan meeting, his voice echoing throughtout the clearing. He steadied himself so he wouldn't fall off of the cold stone beneath him.
"As you have already noticed," he started, "that it it snowing. With snow comes more snow, and soon prey will become more scarce, hiding in their burrows. We need to step up hunting patrols." He finished.
"Also, Streakpaw, Greypaw, and Zarapaw, did extremely well in fighting the foxes today, though they fought like warriors they will still need to train to become warriors. Greypaw also recieved serious injuries and will remain in the medicine cat den until he is healed. He will be excused from apprentice duties until then." He eyes shown sadness as he glanced at the medicine cat den. "The foxes have been chased out of BreezeClan territory but they are still a threat. Though one of the foxes is badly injured, thanks to Zarapaw." He looked at the young apprentice approvingly. "I don't think they should be a problem for a while anyways."
"That is all," he leaped off of TallStone. "Clan dismissed."
He sat down and curled his tail over his paws, watching the kits play in the snow, having a contest on who would catch the most snowflakes. Not far off Zarapaw was sitting with Jadeshine and Sweetbriar.
Pride shown in his eyes as his clanmates came together like a family, his clan was growing.
She stuck her tounge out farther as a big snowflake drifted slightly above her. It landed on her tounge and she turned to Siftkit with excitment to show him her big snowflake but it had already melted. She didn't know snowflakes could melt. "Look Siftkit! Look!" She said with her tougne out.

Zarapaw turned red from blushing as Flightstar mentioned her name aloud.

He looked around once more, he listened to his leader's speech and smiled. He had mentioned his name. But he also mentioned Zarapaw's name, he smiled and closed his eyes, thinking about his clanmates.

"What?" She squeaked. "There should be!" He stuck out her tounge as far as she could and crossed her eyes, trying to look at her tounge. "I caught the biggest snowflake I've ever seen!" She said, which wasn't a lot since it was her first snow day.

Zarapaw watched the kits play and ran across the clearing to her brother. Tackling him playfully. "Hah!"

Siftkit looked around, "Its all so little though..?"

"Some are big." She said. "If you find the right ones." She purred and jumped into a snowdrift. Popping her head out a few heartbeats later. Her white fur blending in perfectly.
