Flightstar slipped out of his den and onto the TallStone, feeling very comforatable in the wind. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath TallStone for a clan meeting." He yowled, his clanmates slinked out of their den, looking like shadows coming into the clearing. "We have two new members today. Please welcome our newest warriors Berylmist and Darkflame."
"Berylmist," he adressed the pretty tabby. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and serve and protect BreezeClan at the risk of your life?" He asked.
"I do," she meowed.
"Darkflame," he said. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect BreezeClan at the risk of your own life?"
"I do," he meowed, his voice strong and proud. "You will become the head warrior."
"Also, when I went out this morning I scented fox, there could be a family of them so becareful. I want the nursery's walls stronger and I want extra patrols. I would like to speak to all of the warriors." He said as he leaped off.
"Clan dismissed."
Jadeshine looked at her leader, and meowed, "What do you need Flightstar?"

"I need three patrols right now," he said. "I've noticed that more and more animals keep straying within our borders and it needs to stop, I've smelled a couple different cat scents too, they could be rouges or cats from a differnet clan. Would you like to lead a patrol?" He asked Jadeshine.

She nodded, then turned around to see Zarapaw and Streakpaw, and another apprentice coming in. "Zarapaw! Come here, your on my patrol." She said as they walked a little closer.

"Oohhh Fun!!" Zarapaw smiled and bounded over, but turned back to see her brother look worried.

Bluepaw, Silverpaw, and Snowpaw bounded out. "Can we go on the patrol?" They asked together.

He lifted his head, "Only one of you. Jadeshine, it doesn't matter who you pick, the other two can go on the next patrol, besides their all great she-cats who are good fighters." He added as the she-cats' lowered their heads.

He hurried over to Flightstar, his eyes still wide as he walked into the clearing. He quietly whispered in his ear as Flightstar nodded, though his expression was grim.

"I need my deputy right now." He yelled around the clearing, hoping Eaglestrike was still in camp.

"What's wrong?" She asked the apprentice.

"I am worried about our clans safety, please check out the flower meadow, Greypaw reported something watching them when he was showing Zarapaw and Streakpaw around and he smelled fox, I don't want any cats hurt." He shot a glance to Sweetbriar who was watching her kits.

Bluepaw glanced at Snowpaw. "If you want to take your apprentice I can wait for Snowflower to take me out." She said.

Snowflower nodded to Bluepaw. "I can take a hunting patrol out. Bluepaw, Eaglestrike, and Streakpaw." She looked at the tabby apprentice. "Streakpaw, do you want to go for a hunt?"

She bounded happily, her first real hunting patrol. She couldn't wait until she was a warrior and was able to lead a patrol on her own.

Streakpaw nodded, "Yeah, Im coming." He ran to Zarapaw first and licked her head, "Be careful." Then ran off to his patrol.

"Jadeshine, I suggest you take your patrol near the border, and Snowflower and Eaglestrike can go to through the hunting trails, the foxes haven't been there but there are some near the flower meadow, I think there might be a nest, after all of the patrols are back I will take a patrol myself and see if the foxes are there." He said.
~Flightstar
"Right away Flightstar." Jadeshine bounded out with the rest of her patrol, straight to the borders. Immediatley she looked at the patrol and said, "Scent carefully."

As a senior warrior he was very interested in watching Jadeshine, Nightstripe and their apprentices. If they were doing well he would report to Flightstar and tell them how well they were doing, if they didn't do well he would guide them.
He nodded to Jadeshine and opened his mouth, letting all of the scents hit his scent glands.

Skittish as he was he didn't understand why he would be picked as a mentor, also as a cat to attack a hungry family of foxes. Was Flightstar trying to kill him?

Snowflower padded towards the well known hunting trails. She remembered going through these trails as an apprentice, how she thought she wouldn't be able to tell where she was. Know here she was perfectly comfortable in her own territory.

She shot an annoyed glare at Streakpaw. He was being so... odd. Even though she barely knew him, he was a really confusing cat.

Snowflower pricked her ears. "Streakpaw, go tell Jadeshine's patrol that the foxes might be attacking Greypaw. Now!"

She heard the screech from Jadeshine's patrol. "Was that Greypaw?" She asked, her eyes widened in fear for her clanmate.

"Yes!"

Streakpaw shot off, bolting as fast as he had ever gone. He easily found them and ran smack dab into his sister. "Jadeshine! Foxes. Greypaw." He panted.

Zarapaw ears pricked at Greypaws name, and as soon as her brother darted off, she was after him, with the rest of the patrol.

He screeched as three foxes came out of the undergrowth behind him. Their eyes wild and hungry. Before he could react the first one leaped on him and held him to the ground. "StarClan help me!" He prayed. How was he, an apprentice, supposed to fight off three adult foxes?

He looked up, seeing Zarapaw. "I don't know." His vision was dazed and he was glancing around, trying to remember where he was, then he remembered, the foxes. He looked at his side, blood not gushing but it was still enough to make him dazed.

Zarapaw didnt have time to reply as the third fox pinned her down, but she didnt even have time to think about fighting. Out of nowhere her brother was there.

Streakpaw had left Jadeshine as soon as he had seen the fox look at his sister, and now he was biting its backbone, trying to break its back. It was paralyzed, but not dead.

He watched through helpless eyes as the fox pinned Zarapaw but his eyes brightened as Streakpaw helped her.

He grappled with the fox, it was the biggest out of the three and was strong, soon the fox might over power him but a battle screech stopped his thought. Nightstripe was with Hawktalon and Dawnmist. All three fresh warriors helped thier clanmates.

Streakpaw finally broke the foxes back, not killing it, but to the point where it couldnt move. He licked his sisters head and dove back to help Sagewhisker. "Need help?" He grinned a little and slashed underneath the animals stomach.

He nodded and kicked the fox hard with his hind legs towards Streakpaw and Nightstripe.

He crouched down and whispered to Streakpaw. "Unbalance the fox and I'll leap on it's back." As the fox hurtled towards them.

She padded over to Greypaw. "Hawktalon, help me bring him back to camp." And together the two warriors carried the injured apprentice back to camp.

"Deal!" He yelled then ducked his head and got closer to the ground, and slipped underneath the foxes legs, tangling himself in its legs. Stragically, he got out, and made it slip on its stomach.

He leaped forward, landing as hard as he could. He knocked the breath out of the fox. "We don't want to kill it unless it won't leave." He told Streakpaw. "Warriors do not kill others in cold blood, including foxes." He said. He then grabbed onto the foxes shoulders and clawed it's belly until he could feel blood pulse from it's body. The fox let out a whine and ran into the bushes.

(Well, you see... Zarapaw is a sneaky she cat and has figured out a lot of tricks, including, if you bite down on a animals backbone long enough, it paralyses them for a few minutes. But it doesnt kill them unless u break it, so its paralyzed.)

Jadeshine answered her leader, "It was great. We drove them off, but poor cat, Greypaw got hurt. Hes getting help now. But all the apprentices did great, helping with getting them off territory." She nodded.

Her belly turned with uneasiness. What if he didn't wake up. What if he didn't recover. She decided it was to much, she needed to keep herself busy. She went outside and looked around for something to do, but keeping her head low.

She bounded out of the nursery with Sifktkit at his heels. She stopped in her tracks as something white and cold fell on her nose. She squeaked with surprise and leaped back, crashing into Siftkit. "Sorry." She squeaked.
