"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath TallStone for a clan meeting." He yowled. "I have made my desicion on who the next deputy of BreezeClan should be."
He waited until yowls of surprise came from below, stopped.
"Icebreeze will be the new deputy."
Meows of congratulations came from the cats sitting all around the clearing. It was no surprise that the handsome quick thinking tom would become the next deputy. He was young but wise, a perfect combination for the next leader of BreezeClan.
"Iceblaze will you please send out a hunting and border patrol. Also, Greypaw has fully healed and will start on his apprentice duties once more. He has a lot of catching up to do."
"That is all, clan dismissed."
[Also, I have deleted all inactive cats, if I deleted one of the active cats that are yours please tell me and I'd be happy to add them back]

ReplyDeleteIceblaze dipped his head to the clan, eyes shining with pride, determination, and a little surprise. "I know I can never live up to Flightstar's deeds, but I will try to be the best deputy I possibly can." He took a deep breath. "Okay, um, patrols..." He wasn't used to ordering his clanmates around. Iceblaze licked his chest in embarrassment. "Right, er... Wintersky, can you lead a border patrol? Take four other cats with you. Speckleleaf, can you lead the hunting patrol? Take at least three cats with you, and try to catch about two pieces of prey each- our clan is growing and we constantly need more fresh-kill. Thank you!" Iceblaze let out a breath of relief as he finished. He headed off to find Stormsky.
"Of course." She dipped her head to the deputy and looked around for cats. "Riverheart, Mistpaw, and Horizonheart." She meowed.

Wintersky looks at the apprentice "Sure lionpaw i just need two more cats starstream and sagewhisker" he meowed
He nodded to the young deputy. "Feel free to talk to the senior warriors, it might be a little overwhelming at first." he dipped his head and waited for the patrol to leave.

Horizonheart nods and looks over her shoulder at Iceblaze and quickly turns again. she flicks her tail in nervousness.

Wintersky frowns and looks around for silverpaw his apprentice and when he finds her he beckons with his tail for her to come on the patrol with them

Iceblaze's nodded to Sagewhisker gratefully. His heart plummeted when he heard Horizonheart's name being called by Speckleleaf. He had wanted to spend some time with her. But there was always that possibility... should he? Or shouldn't he? Iceblaze narrowed his eyes, hesitating, before walking quickly to Speckleleaf. He bent and whispered in her ear, "Can I join your hunting patrol? Sorry, I just haven't been doing much hunting patrols lately, and I need to do something. You can still lead," he said apologetically. His gaze flicked over to Horizonheart for a split second.

She ran over to Wintersky, her blue eyes sparking with curiousity. "I'm going on the patrol?" She asked and stood beside Wintersky.

She scowled. She was never picked for anything, no one ever paid attention to her. Snowpaw wasn't paid attention to iether but more then she was. She stood up and shook her pelt. Only pretty she-cats were picked. She then started for the camp entrance. She would go and find somethign else to occupy her time.

She noticed her sister leave and sighed. She knew exactly how her sister felt but she didn't show it.

"The nursery needs patching up." he said as he came from behind the nursery. "And warriors able to help me?" he asked, his amber gaze glancing around the clearing.

He yawned and stretched. His cuts feeling better then they had when he first got them. He looked around and frowned, his mentor had just left on a patrol. What was he supposed to do? He then looked around for Zarapaw's familiar brownish gray pelt.

She stretched then flopped down in the sunlight. Her eyes tired from her restless sleep. She yawned and laid her head down, ready to catch up on her sleep.

"Featherpaw! We're going to try training!" He meowed. "Bring Lionpaw!"

She looked around the clearing. Barely anyone was left in the camp she sat down and started to clean her pelt.

Iceblaze didn't see any sign of acknowledgement of his sudden arrival into the patrol from Horizonheart besides her moving towards him. He narrowed his eyes, then turned his head away. Her loss. "Where are we hunting?" He asked Speckleleaf.

Iceblaze looked at her casually. "Thanks. Let's actually go hunt somewhere, like at the Hunting Trails." He bit back a "and please don't start bouncing around like a kit" and stepped out of the entrance tunnel.
